Truesec Appoints Karin Hagman as New CEO

Truesec Group, the Nordic region’s leading cybersecurity growth company, announces the appointment of Karin Hagman as its new Chief Executive Officer. She succeeds Anna Averud, who has successfully led the company over the past seven years, establishing Truesec as a premium cybersecurity leader in the Nordics.

Karin Hagman brings over two decades of leadership experience from global technology firms, including Microsoft and most recently as Regional Vice President for the Nordics at AI platform company Workday. She also has a background as an intelligence officer in the Swedish Armed Forces. Her unique combination of experience in international tech leadership and national security provides her with a deep understanding of today’s complex cybersecurity landscape—aligning strongly with Truesec’s future direction.

Anna Averud will continue her involvement with Truesec as a Member of the Board of Directors and will also serve as Executive Advisor.
